JOSE BERBEL | PRESIDENT
Jose launched AGD in 2006 and is one of Central Texas’s most knowledgeable experts in granite and countertops. Known for outstanding customer care, he has helped Austin Granite Direct become one of the fastest-growing granite companies in the greater Austin area. Under his leadership, AGD earned the Angie’s List Super Service Award, BBB accreditation, and was named one of the Austin Business Journal’s Top 50 Fastest Growing Companies two years in a row.

SARAH DURHAM | SALES OPERATIONS MANAGER
Sarah earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design from Abilene Christian University in 2011 and has been a member of the Austin Granite Direct team for the past seven years.
Outside of work, Sarah enjoys spending time outdoors, hands-on projects at home, and spending time with her husband and their two daughters.

I’m a Showroom Sales and Design Consultant at Austin Granite Direct, where I help homeowners, designers, and builders select the perfect stone and bring their design vision to life from start to finish.
My favorite stone is Calacatta Vagli Rose. I love its soft blush tones and elegant veining—it feels luxurious, unique, and full of character. And it’s very cute!
A fun fact about me is that everyone at work knows me as Maria, but outside of work, I go by Malu.
My favorite project was a custom kitchen with a full-height backsplash using Crystal Tempest. The stone was incredibly bold, with beautiful greens, reds, blues, and oranges. The clients were a wonderful couple who lived in a stunning downtown building, and the stone truly elevated the space and complemented their home perfectly.

Hi, I’m Audrey, the Marketing Specialist. My favorite part of my job is visiting sites after our team has installed the pieces and capturing photos and videos of the finished projects—it’s so satisfying to see everything come together.
When it comes to stones, I’m drawn to ones that look like abstract paintings, like Vittara Black, which reminds me of a tempest frozen in stone.
Outside of marketing, content creation, and web design, I love to paint and explore creativity on a different canvas.

I schedule installations and handle communication between installers and project managers.
