Jose Berbel
President
Jose launched AGD in 2006, and he has become one of the most knowledgeable people in Central Texas about granite and countertops. He is known for his outstanding customer care, and has helped Austin Granite Direct become one of the fastest growing granite companies in the greater Austin area. Under his leadership, AGD has won the Angie’s List Super Service Award, gained accreditation’s from the Better Business Bureau, and was rated as Austin Business Journal’s top 50 fastest growing companies two years in a row!
Michelle Oliveira
Vice President
Michelle is a Stone Lover!
She has over 12 years in the stone industry. She was born in Brazil, went to school and got her bachelor’s degree in social communication. Michelle managed different roles throughout her career. Since she moved to US in 2011, she fell in love with the natural stone industry. She has played roles as Purchasing Manager, Business Development, Sales and Operations Manager. She has joined AGD as Vice President since August 2018. Her vision is constantly bringing innovation to AGD’s business model. She develops our product portfolio and manages the whole company. Her goal is to bring the best material to assist our customers with an outstanding level of excellence and convenience.
Yvonne got hooked on the wonderful world of Stone in 2012. Since then, she has developed a true passion for helping people fulfill the dream of bringing beautiful stones into their homes. She works meticulously to make sure her clients get what they deserve on time and within budget!
My favorite Stone is Rain Forest Marble. The erratic rust veining against the cloudy green background brings the landscape of a thriving forest to you. When not working, her time is spent with her amazing husband and two daughters, taking care of her small farm, exploring, and experiencing life together.
Sarah graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design from Abilene Christian University in 2011. She has been working with the Austin Granite Direct team for over 4 years.
She loves transforming spaces and seeing designs come to life. Outside of work she enjoys crafting, building home projects, and spending time with her husband and two little girls.
