Jose A. Berbel
President & Founder
Jose founded Austin Granite Direct in 2006 and has been instrumental in leading the company to an average 20% growth year-over-year for the last 10 years. In addition to managing the day-to-day operations, Jose works as a Sales/Project Manager, particularly with established customers. Prior to founding Austin Granite Direct, Jose worked for Austin American Technology as an applications engineer- where he focused on R&D in cleaning and drying of electrical components and circuit boards manufactured for critical applications in medical, military, and aerospace settings. Jose is the sole inventor of three US Patents. He received a Bachelors of Chemistry from The University of Texas at Austin.
Yvonne Ray
Project Manager
Yvonne got hooked on the wonderful world of Stone in 2012. Since then, she has developed a true passion for helping people fulfill the dream of bringing beautiful stones into their homes. She works meticulously to make sure her clients get what they deserve on time and within budget! Her favorite stone is the Beautiful Rain Forest Marble. The erratic rust veining against the cloudy green background brings the landscape of a thriving forest to you. When she’s not working, her time is spent with her amazing husband and two daughters, taking care of her small farm, exploring, and experiencing life together.

Jazzlyn Enbysk
Inside Sales Representative
Jazz is eager to help you make your project come to life. Her schooling was in Film/Broadcasting but she enjoys taking the skills she learned doing set design and composition and applying it to your interior design needs. When she’s not working, she loves to reading and writing, climbing, and spending time with her friends and her rabbit, Tina.

When she is not working, she loves to spend my time traveling, working out, and playing with her Italian Greyhound, Chester.

Marissa has been at Austin Granite Direct since January of 2023. Her favorite stone would have to be Cristallo and how beautiful it looks when the sunlight is beaming through! She has been a Purchasing Coordinator for 5 years and she can’t wait to see what else this field has to offer. When she is not at work, you can find her out at a game for her son or cooking/ baking for her family to enjoy some time together! She has 5 kids, so her days are filled with lots of laughs and happy chaos!

Sarah graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design from Abilene Christian University in 2011. She has been working with the Austin Granite Direct team for over 4 years. She loves transforming spaces and seeing designs come to life. Outside of work she enjoys crafting, building home projects, and spending time with her husband and two little girls.
Tanya Gotcher

Tanya is a driven and accomplished professional with a diverse range of experiences. She has spent the past 6 months working at Austin Granite Direct, where she has developed a deep knowledge and appreciation for the various types of stone available, with a particular fondness for Ocean Fantasy. She spent 10 years as a barrel racer, developing the focus and discipline required to succeed in a highly competitive field. Tanya has also worked alongside her in-laws in the construction industry, helping to build three homes and developing a keen eye for detail and a deep understanding of the building process.

Luis is from a little town just north of Houston called Conroe, Texas. He has a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Relations from Texas State University. He has been in the industry for just over a year. He loves working in this business and seeing the outcome of our work. In his freetime he enjoys practicing and watching sports. He loves representing his Houston teams.
