Quartz is a crystallized silicon dioxide (SiO2). It has a natural resistance to acids. Our partners form and compress this natural stone to create an engineered Quartz for countertops. It is a 100% man-made product and a 100% non-porous material. Engineered quartz is available in a variety of colors and textures.
ULTRA COMPACT SURFACES
Ultra Compact Surfaces are made from a variety of raw materials and pressurized from a high tech process. This process is similar to an accelerated version of the metamorphic change that natural stone undergoes when introduced to high temperatures and pressure over thousands of years. These products have zero water absorption, ice and thawing resistance, UV resistance, and color stability.
